We know that many Android phones?aren?t?getting?the?latest Android 4.2 Jellybean. However, due to the fact that consistent Android development takes place by industrious devs and hackers, so bringing bits and pieces of the latest Android 4.2 JellyBean to your outdated Android device isn?t much of a problem. Since we haven?t been covering everything here (Yes, my boss also doesn?t like that), but still there is stuff whose non-coverage is a sin (in metaphorical terms, that is). There are many ports of different Jellybean apps that are being done by different developers and have been made public on various forums and Android related portals. Today, as I was skimming through various new apps in the Google Play Store, the AOSP Android 4.2 JellyBean Keyboard app grabbed my immediate attention. This AOSP Android 4.2 Keyboard has been developed ( or ported?) by Honso and is available to download for free on compatible Android devices. Since I downloaded and ran it successfully on our Galaxy Nexus, so its obvious that multitude of Android devices will be able to run this Android 4.2 JellyBean keyboard without a hassle. However, if your device isn?t compatible or it doesn?t run on it for whatever reason, then you seriously need to consider an upgrade.
