Hill Valley fielded six players of their own who took on the big guns from Your Golf Travel in three fourball better ball matches.
Despite having home advantage, the Hill Valley players had a tough time containing the unrivalled golfing talent at Your Golf Travel?s disposal and Europe?s largest golf tour operator walked off the 18th green with three wins out of three under its belt.
General Manager of Macdonald Hill Valley, Terence Southward, who was a team member for Hill Valley, was quick to praise the competition and said, ?It was a fantastic day and as Your Golf Travel are so important to the success of the residential golf packages we cater for throughout the year, we wanted to give them first-hand experience of playing 18 holes on our award-winning course.?
Ever the good sport, Terence went on to say, ?Of course, we would have preferred to have claimed victory on our home turf but the YGT teams were just too good.?
