York University Students Show Their Support for Israel

As
intense rocket fire continued from Gaza overnight with more than 200
missiles launched onto Israel soil, and an Israeli family of three
killed
when a missile struck their home in Kiryat Malachi, north of Ashkelon,
Hillel of Greater Toronto students at York University showed their
creativity, as well as the strong bond they, as Jews, have with the
people of Israel.

On November 15th, the York students walked from the Hillel Lounge to Vari Hall where they gathered together in a circle and said a prayer for the people of Israel. Dressed in red shirts - representing the "Tzeva Adom" or Red Alert - the announcement heard by Jewish men, women and children in different Israeli cities and towns that are under attack.

Israeli flags were waved proudly as students shouted, "We are all red!"Today is "I Stand with Israel Day" at York University, for which students around the world will wear Pro-Israel, white or blue t-shirts to symbolize their stance for peace and freedom in Israel.
